The Virtual Refractor

A generation of optometry students have learnt to refract at home before going in to the Clinical Laboratory to practice on each other.  They have done this by using the patient-simulator 'Refract-A-Mac' or Virtual Refractor' as Dr Jack Alexander’s interactive software variously came to be known.
