General Information

There are two avenues of postgraduate study in the School of Optometry and Vision Science at UNSW Australia.

Graduates in Optometry with a qualification equivalent to the BOptom may enrol in a course of postgraduate study. The School of Optometry and Vision Science at UNSW Australia currently offers the Master of Optometry, Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics & Graduate Certificate in Myopia Management.  Individual courses may also be taken as non-award study.

The second option of postgraduate study is by research. You will be supervised by a staff member with expertise in the area of research and complete a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy degree. See Research for more information about current active programs of Research in the School.
