Jaya Sowjanya Siddireddy is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the School of Optometry and Vision Science. Her PhD degree was conferred in 2018 from University of New South Wales. In her PhD, Sowjanya evaluated clinical, microbiological and biochemical aspects of eyelids and their effect on comfort during contact lens wear. Sowjanya is part of Eye Research Group at School of Optometry and Vision Science, UNSW that works in close association with eye care industry to evaluate and develop innovative eye care products. Her current post-doctoral research specializes in contact lenses, contact lens care products, dry eyes and microbiology.
