Join this year's Australian L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Fellows at the University of New South Wales for our yearly, highly anticipated L'Oréal Girls in Science Forum event!

The students will have an opportunity to hear from the Fellows including their scientific interests and the discoveries they have made. Each scientist will give a short presentation in a way that is engaging and relevant. Then there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.

It’s a free event – best suited for female year 9, 10 and 11 students - where students with a passion for science can hear about the Fellow’s research and experience as woman scientists, whilst also discuss the potential for future study or careers in science.

After the forum, students will tour the UNSW campus, guided by current science students. They will have the chance to participate in activities hosted by UNSW Science. A light lunch will be provided to attendees.

Associate Professor Michele Madigan will be representing the School of Optometry and Vision Science at this event.

Registrations close Wednesday, 6 November - https://girlsinscienceforum2019.eventbrite.com.au
