Defy Dry Eyes 2018

Dry eye disease presents in millions of people globally, and despite the symptoms being a common complaint in the test room, many individuals are unaware of their diagnosis. As a result, many cases of dry eye disease remain untreated.

Between 30th July -10th August 2018, UNSW School of Optometry and Vision Science is encouraging everyone to “Defy Dry Eye”,  By raising community awareness about dry eye disease, highlighting the  latest research in the field of dry eye disease and by launching the new UNSW Dry Eye clinic as a statewide referral centre for diagnosis, imaging and evidence-based management of dry eye.
